Efficiently navigate a document using the table of contents

You can efficiently explore a large document, by using the table of contents to navigate sections.

To access the Table of Contents:

1. Open an act or other piece of legislation

2. Navigate to the left hand side of the document to view Table of Contents.

1. Scroll through the Table of Contents to see the various sections using the scroll bar to the right.

2. Click the Expand all and Collapse all buttons to collapse or expand all the headings in your document.

3. Click the Chapter, Section, Part or Paragraph that contains the content you want.

4. The page jumps to that part of the document.

Type in the “Search table of contents” box to filter the items to find what you’re looking for.
